My hiatus hyper fixation created something beautiful. Magnetic flower bouquets, so many colors and styles. No two bouquets are the same. I love them. 😍

Hi. It’s me. I’m still here. Doom scrolling for days & Hyper fixating on anything but what I should be doing. But hey look. Cool new bookmarks. 🙃

In truth, I’ve taken a break for a few reasons. The holiday burnout is so so real. I intended to take a quick break and then get back to what I loved. However, then the world threw me a curveball by taking away my longest and greatest support system, my grandmother. She was always so proud of me and watching my business grow. She shared every reel and commented on every post. She loved seeing where my creativity would take me, my entire life she asked me “what are you making now”. She’s seen every hobby come and go. And then, she was gone. And the simple thought of never seeing her name reacting to another post hit hard.

Suddenly the thought of creating just didn’t appeal to me. I had zero thoughts on what I wanted to make. The plans of my Valentines collection completely vanished. I just didn’t want to. I filled my “spare time” with books, junk tv and a bit too much sleeping, allowing myself to fall further into a hole. My hands fell idol, something I’ve never know before. The half created clay slab I started a month ago staring at me daily, reminding me it still needs to be finished.

Slowly I’m working my way out of the grief. Creating small things here and there. Today it was a bookmark. Maybe tomorrow something new. I don’t know when I will get ‘my spark’ back, but I know she would be disappointed if I didn’t try. Thanks for being patient with me in the meantime.
